Cigar Purse This purse started out as a plain wood box. It had pre- existing hardware in a gold hue that I removed and changed to silver to match some of the embellishments that I intended to use. There was no handle however, so I had to buy the parts and create holes for the screws. The front and the back was made out of paper that I cut to shape. After the paper dried I then glued on the embellishments. The side is made from fabric (the music notes) and ribbon (the measuring tape). The inside base is velvet and the top features a glass mirror that I placed over lace. I had difficulty finding something to fit the inside closure area so I decided to just hand write inspirational words with pen. For the bottom I used rubber stamps in various over lapping colors. This was given as a Christmas present to my mother.
