Sock Monkey   My first handmade sock monkey project. His name is Gilgamesh, after the ancient Sumarian poem, the Epic of Gilgamesh. It is one of the oldest recorded stories ever discovered and portrays a half man half God character of a real life King who's quest in life was his own immortality.
