(Also I've begun working on Interesting Links that relate
to the topics listed below) Philosophy of the soul? Origins of the concept. It's neurological specifications. Origins and history of man's evolution and migration. Paleo anthropology. Genetic tree of the worlds population as a whole from beginning to current. Every species. Early societies. Outer space and/or other planets as man's habitat. And the requirements and theories for man generated space colonies (false gravity etc.). Time machines, the speed of light and time travel (and black holes relationship to time). Also, the paradox of viewing space outside of real time. Computers that are more intelligent than ourselves. A. I. (artificial intelligence) and how to build them and what it tells us about our own intelligence, brain structure and behavior. Extending brain power (brain research to understand how the mind functions and it's capabilities). Cognitive neurology. Extending life spans. The God concept? Why, what it says about us and our biography of God through out history. Also, the earliest history of God(s), religions and rituals. Understanding man's ethical guidelines. Early language. The evolution of the anatomy and the cognitive process/capability and when. When were the first early writings? Sumerians/Egyptians (3500BC or so?). As well as what is the earliest found evidence of writings. Art in the context of an early form of communication. Art in the context of abstract and two tiered thinking. Symbols and their progressions of meaning over time. Man's intelligence and ability to build and advance technologies as opposed to other life forms. Exactly when, why and how did this occur. Modular Robotics - bots that build and re-build themselves. History of religions and how they have merged and changed as well as the ideology behind them and the impact on societies. The universe - it's structure, it's birth and it's future. The possibilities that lie in future virtual reality technology and simulations. Plugging into others experiences? Plugging into other places? The physics of dimensions and time. The human brain, how it works and effects our memories, philosophies and aspirations. What is hardwired and how neurons are born (neuroscience). Genius. Music, it's timeline in relationship to mankind's earliest speech and speech patterns. Is it hard wired? Is this emotional impact we have towards music somehow tied up into the development of patterns, symbols, and speech? What was before the big bang? (I know, technically there was no before, when there was no time...) and more generally physical cosmology. What happened before that explosion? What caused it? Chaos - If entropy is the only factor between the past and the future what can we learn about this and the so called imaginary time, in relationship to our understanding of time? Virtual particles and the quantum effect of black holes. The speculation that our rationality actually limits the focused talents that savant minds have. For example: folks with autism, and blindness who are outrageously talented in sculpting, or music, some who even store and play thousands upon thousands of songs on the piano from memory. What does this tell us, can this be tapped into? When our focus is dispersed, is it less powerful? If we were to focus on this heightened level, do we lose our other capabilities? The study of twins and understanding the differences and similarities of the same genes in these individuals. This is useful information in the study of genetic cloning. What is dark matter? Black holes - are they time machines? Is there a way to get through, survive and record the experience? Stephen Hawking has made the theory that while one could not make it through alive, that ones remaining energy would come through. The fact that something could enter and exit, although not in the same form, shows that there is a means of travel. And, in fact black holes are self recording. Newer theories have shown that the outside of the black hole would just "appear" to have it's entrance disperse, but perhaps they do not. I am interested in the fact that very large black holes appear to be in the center or close to the center of most galaxies. Is a galaxy a vortex of matter caught up in a black holes gravity? The history and meaning of our own mythologies (i.e. Joseph Campbell, the greek mythologies and modern mythology in our own media). How the evolutionary structure of society constrain us in matters of change/development. What about our own physical and neurological evolution? Is there true math that relates to the earth and our universe, or is our math limited by our understanding of the physics we live in and our interpretation of our reality? Is there a unified theory? How can we hijack nature to get it to do what we want, and re-program the errors that have been thus far fixed into our biology and environment. Examples- repairing biological disease and ageing within the body, manipulating materials and restructuring toxins in our surroundings so that they are not harmful. String theory, is it true? How can it be proved experimentally? Also, the newer M-brane and M theory. The very beginning... of just about everything. The production of oxygen on earth, the first flower and it's impact on an inhabitable earth, the beginning of life and it's virtual secondary 'reset' button (dinosaur extinction) galaxy formations, and all of the wonderful societal firsts, . Nanotechnology - everything is here for us, we have all of the ingredients right here at our disposal to solve all of our problems, hunger, disease, and pollution. And in more general terms: Philosophy, sociology, psychology, math, physics, archeology, physical cosmology, paleo anthropology, history, biology, linguistics, art, poetry, space, time, structures (from as small as a quark, to as large as our universe, or as some theorize, other universes), neurology, mythology, symbolism, computers, nanotechnology, cryonics, virtual reality, technology, quantum mechanics, genetics, belief systems, early societies and evolution. |
