Lady Love - This is an animation that I drew using my tablet PC. The tablet PC allows an artist to load a program and use a pen to draw on to the screen of the computer. For this project I used PAP (Plastic Animation Paper) which is a very simple drawing program, you draw and it saves each image you draw as a .jpg. It does also have a playback for preview, but that's about it. PAP is shareware, but you can upgrade for around 30 dollars. So I drew 13 individual images (much the same way I did my hand drawn movie , Butterfly movie and swirl movie ) but I didn't have to set any opacity or use transparency paper because you can select a toggle that can see through to your previous image when you are using PAP. I then saved my work as .jpgs and imported them into Combustion. If you want it to, Combustion will put your .jpgs in the order that they are named, so that they work in an ordered animation mode. Which worked great for this image sequence, since they were in the proper order. Once inside of Combustion, I added time to the sequence, I added the blue and purple paint brushes you see on top of my drawings at a light opacity and one pink brush for the center of the heart. Previously I had added sound from my Vegas program but I thought I would give it a shot inside of Combustion, it was very easy. I spent a lot of time trying to trim down an audio file in Acid, and then I just decided to record my own personal airy wisp. Look Ma - I drew it myself! Hope you enjoy it!
